Rudra Bahadur Gurung, a security guard of Global IME Bank in central Baneshwor, Kathmandu was attacked with a khukuri by an unidentified person. Soon after the attack, security guards fell to the ground, that unidentified person fled the place. 

There was a dispute while the person was waiting in line to exchange money at the bank on Thursday, October 15, then the person pulled out the khukuri carried by Gurung and attacked him. The security guard's hand is injured and he is undergoing treatment at Kathmandu Medical College. Meanwhile, the search for the absconded person is underway.
