4 youths arrested for burning government scooter in the demonstration over the capital issue in Butwal

Police arrested four youths for burning government scooter during a protest in Butwal over the issue of the provincial capital on the basis of the case registered against them for burning a scooter registered in the name of Tilottama Municipality in Rupandehi on Thursday, October 15.
The arrested accused were 25-year-old Bheshraj Pokhrel of Budhnagar, Butwal, 35-year-old Roshan Thapa of Devinagar, 28-year old Sandeep Pandey of Tilottama Municipality-2 and 30-year-old Suraj of Butwal. They set fire to a government scooter at Horizon Chowk in Butwal-11 Devinagar on October 2.
Similarly, police arrested two youths Basanta Regmi and Basanta of Devdaha Municipality-4 for threatening to blow up a police scooter on their way to Khaireni Kachahara Bridge when asked for a license. A case was registered against them for violating public peace.
