Chitwan/May 21 The district court has slapped 2 year imprisonment to Simson Chepang aka Sagar Tamang, 37, of Korak VDC-1 on May 20 for molesting a 20-year-old woman. The victim had filed a case at the district court on August 22, 2013 accusing Chepang of molesting her after finding her phone number through a radio station. Other accused Asim Kumar Chepang is at large. According to Jaya Narayan Acharya of the district court, judge Binod Mohan Acharya issued 2 year jail term and a fine of 50 thousand rupees for sexual abuse according to the chapter 4 and chapter 4 of the Human Trafficking and Transportation Control Act 2007. Simson is in custody at the Lamjung Prison on remand as another case of human trafficking is under investigation.
