RAUTAHAT: Police yesterday night arrested the main accused Yogendra Yadav, who had thrashed a 40-year-old woman of Patharabudhram VDC for allegedly practicing witchcraft, in Rautahat. He was accused as the main culprit, who led the mob that abused Renu Devi Jayaswal yesterday afternoon. A group of eight persons, including Yadav had allegedly beaten Renu black and blue alleging that she had cast a magic spell on Yogendra’s ten-year-old granddaughter.
