Devendra Thapa, 20, of Gadhariha in Dhakari Rural Municipality-3 of Achham was killed with a sharp weapon. According to the District Police Office, Achham, another 16-year-old Rudra Thapa of the same place has been injured. Achham police arrested Narendra Bahadur Budha of Dhakari village on suspicion of involvement in the murder.

Rudra, who was found in critical condition, was sent to Kohalpur for further treatment along with Devendra's body.
