Police arrested two persons on Tuesday night, October 27, on the charge of beating to death. 29-year-old Surya Bahadur Gurung of Syangja Putlibazar Municipality-6 was beaten to death in an altercation while playing swing at Takasr, Kold-danda in Putlibazar Municipality-6 on Monday night, October 26 by 34-year-olds Indrajit Gurung and Gir Bahadur Gurung of the same place, who were supposedly drunk. 

Surya Bahadur was critically injured and rushed to Manipal Teaching Hospital, Pokhara for further treatment but he died the next day. Police also arrested other two persons for further investigation into the incident.
