Police on November 1 arrested 19-year-old Sunil Kumar Sharma alias Nur of Kankalini Municipality-6 of Hanumannaga on a charge of trafficking 13- and 14-year-old girls to India.

According to SP Rajendra Prasad Dhamala, action has been taken against the accused by registering a joint complaint against human trafficking and smuggling.

The victims have alleged that the accused had taken them by motorcycle to India on the morning of October 27. 

According to the victim's family, the accused had absconded after being interrogated by the locals of Kariyot.
