Four persons have been injured in a scuffle between locals in Rupandehi's Marchwari village. The dispute that started in Marchwari Rural Municipality-1 at Sonvarsha Chowk due to the pending payment of the purchase of a goat from a month earlier. Chief Police Inspector Amrit Bhandari of the Area Police Office Marchwar informed that the dispute over the same issue has escalated.
According to him, four motorcycles and five bicycles were vandalized during the scuffle between the locals after 7 pm. Four injured people have been brought to Bhairahawa for treatment.
Chief Bhandari said that the situation has been brought under control by mobilizing numerous police personnel at the spot.
