A person was found dead in a suspicious circumstance near a canal in Jagatpur Shivadham of Shailyashikhar Municipality-9 of Darchula on Tuesday morning. The deceased has been identified as 45-year-old Govinda Gharedi of Dadabagh Basic School, Kimichor in Dilasheni Rural Municipality-2 of Baitadi. Govinda's was found head inside and hands were found outside the RCC canal. \

According to the police, they found Rs 85,000 in cash along with a bag, mobile phone, bank check book and other belongings from the deceased. From the bruises on the dead body, it was said that the victim was attacked with a sharp weapon on his head. On November 2 he had gone to the school to pay salaries of the teacher.
