Police arrested 35-year-old Hariman Kami of Kankasundari Rural Municipality-6, Jumla from Jufal Airport on November 3 under the charge of attempted trafficking of a 24-year-old girl. The accused attempted to sell the girl by promising to marry her and tried to take her to Nepalgunj but was arrested when the police checked his citizenship at the airport. He is kept in police custody under the Public Offenses Act and the victim was handed over to her family.
