An unidentified person has vandalized a health post at Tripurakot in Tripura Sundari Municipality-1 on November 5.
SI Tej Bahadur Rana of Tripurakot police post told INSEC representative that the storeroom, in-charge's room, kitchen, main room and assembly hall of the health post were broken into.
According to SI Rana, in the absence of health post in-charge and office assistant, the health post was vandalized and robbed.
Chairman of the Health Post Management Committee and Ward Chairman of Tripura Sundari Municipality-1, Karmasingh Thapa, said that the theft took place on the pretext that there was no staff.
Police said that the incident was being investigated.
