Khotang/ May 27 Man Kumari Shrestha, 30, of Jalapa VDC-2 has lodged a complaint at District Police Office on May 26 against her husband Ram Kumar Shrestha, 30, on charge of polygamy. The victim said that they were married 10 years ago according to Hindu tradition and have two sons who died later. She further said that she was compelled to lodge a complaint after her husband married another woman Rabika Shrestha, 19, of Lukla VDC, Solukhumbu on May 1. Based on the complaint lodged by an accused, the search for him is underway, said Inspector Ramesh Kumar Dev of District Police Office Diktel. The accused will be charged under polygamy, said police.
