Relatives and family members of 16-year-old Babita Rokaya of Hima Rural Municipality-3 Mofla have been agitated citing that police is releasing the accused of Babita's murder on bail and trying to weaken the case against them.

6 persons including 3 persons from Babita's side and 3 security personnel from APF and Nepal police were injured during a clash over the same issue. Khamba Rokaya, Haribhakta Kathayat and Suvi Kathayat of the victims side were seriously injured in the incident. Similarly, Uday Khatri and Raj Bahadur Rawat of the Armed Police Force were injured while Director of Nepal Police Rokaya was also injured .Police arrested Haribhakta Kathayat and Khamba Rokaya. They also used batons and tear gas to control the crowd. 

Police had arrested 19-year-old Kar Bahadur Bhandari of Mofla in Hima Rural Municipality-3 and 37-year-old Ram Chandra Dangi of Mofla on October 21 on the charge of murdering the girl. According to DSP Madhav Prasad Kafle of the District Police Office, Babita who had gone missing was found dead near Hima River at Hima Rural Municipality-1, Pagarpali on October 17.
