Two Biplov-led CPN cadres arrested from Palpa

Police arrested two cadres of Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplov’-led CPN (Maoist) from Palpa. According to the DSP Pratit Singh Rathore of Area Police Office, Butwal, they arrested Palpa District secretary Purna Bahadur Singh and district committee member Min Bahadur Ale from Butwal on Thursday.
Rathore said that explosives and party documents were also recovered from them. Police have lodged a complaint against them under Article 14, Section (6) of Criminal Conduct (Code) 2074.
The District Court of Rupendehi has allowed them to keep in the custody of Area Police Office, Butwal, for five days for investigation.
