Chitwan/June 1 A case has been filed against Jeevan Magarati, 22, of Pithuwa VDC-2 at Area Police Office on June 1 on charge of raping an 18-year-old woman. It is learnt that he raped the woman in near a brook in Pithuwa VDC-8 on May 29 after giving her a ride home. The victim filed a complaint at APO on May 30 asking for action against absconding accused. Inspector Kedar Panta said that the accused Magarati was arrested at a hotel at Gongabu, Kathmandu on May 31. Panda said that the time for his custody has been extended by the court. Medical check-up of the woman was conducted on the day of filing of the complaint.
