Members of the Khas community staged a demonstration in Maitighar Mandala of Kathmandu on Sunday, November 22 demanding to list the Khas community as indigenous people and for the formation of a Khas Commission. 

Participants in the protest carried placards with slogans such as listing the Khas community as indigenous, forming a Khas commission, stopping killings and violence, stopping foreign intervention, and stopping corruption in the country.
