Man beaten to death in Jhapa; three arrested

50-year-old Purna Bahadur Pradhan of Mechinagar Municipality-4 in Jhapa was beaten to death by a group on November 29. Pradhan had allegedly assaulted Dorje Tamang alias Prem. The group attacked Pradhan as a retaliation to the incident.
Police have arrested three persons on the charge of being involved in the incident. The arrested are Bema Dorji Tamang (Prem), Divas Lungeli Magar and Bishal Tamang.
