54-year-old Dhaniram Yadav was killed in a clash between two groups; locals Babulal Yadav and Ram Naresh Gupta in Baniya village of Janaki Rural Municipality-5 in Banke district on November 30. There was an old rivalry between the two groups. Five persons were injured in the clash. 

The clash occurred at the Guruwa village in a fair held on the full moon day every year. After Rana was beaten by the group, Gupta brought his group and clashed again.
