The team of Human Trafficking Investigation Bureau have arrested 43-year-old Ganesh Kumar Lomba of Taplejung Meringden Rural Municipality-4  on December 1 on the charge of trafficking 3 persons to South Africa. Lomba had lured the three for lucrative jobs and wages to South Africa from Tribhuvan International Airport  through India.

They were kept as hostage and were tortured physically and mentally for 5 months. He was arrested on the basis of the complaint filed by the victims after they escaped from there and returned to Nepal.
