Brutal attack on cadres of Samajwadi Party in Mahottari

A brutal attack was carried out on the cadres including the ward chairman of the Janata Samajwadi Party. Five cadres of Janata Samajwadi Party-Nepal were injured in the attack in Sreepur of Aurhi Municipality of Mahottari on November 30. The injured are the 27-year-old Arun Yadav, 50-year-old Vinod Kumar Yadav, 45-year-old Binod Yadav Bengali, 23-year-old Shivshankar Yadav and 55-year-old Mahendra Ray Yadav.
According to one of the victims, the ward chairman of ward-5,who is elected by NC, had deployed thugs with the intention of killing them. The victims alleged that NC cadres have been beating and abusing them time and again. Around 8 locals came and attacked them.
The situation had returned to normal after the police reached the spot. According to the victims, they fled when the police team arrived from Kathughar post.
