NSU burnt Prime Minister and Home Minister's effigies protesting Poudel's arrest

Nepal Students Union (NSU)  burnt the effigy of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa on December 3 in Ilam to protest against the arrest of senior Congress leader Ram Chandra Poudel in Tanahun.

They accused the government of being autocratic and mobilizing the police against the opposition. They also chanted slogans against the Prime Minister and the Home Minister saying that the government has hurt the people under various pretexts.
