The District Police Office, Baglung on December 16 arrested 38-year-old Tej Bahadur Rana, 26-year-old  Vijay Rana, 31-year-old Purna Bahadur Rana and two woman of Badigad Rural Municipality-2 on the charge of abusing and beating a 36-year-old woman on December 13 accusing her involvement in witchcraft.

Inspector Lokendra Shrestha of the District Police Office, Baglung, told INSEC that the victim had lodged a complaint against the accused at the District Police Office, Baglung on December 16, alleging that she was beaten and mentally tortured.

Shrestha said that the victim was examined at Dhaulagiri Hospital, Baglung and the woman was found to have injuries on various parts of her body.
