Human Rights and Peace Society has taken to the streets saying that the dissolution of the parliament by the President on the recommendation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli was unconstitutional and arbitrary.

Under the leadership of Sushil Basnet, Central Secretary General of the society, civil society, journalists, legal practitioners, and human rights activists staged the protest. He said that the dissolution of the parliament was the biggest mockery of democracy.
