ANNFSU staged rally against dissolution of the parliament

All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU) protested against the dissolution of the parliament. Students on the side of Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal and senior leaders Madhav Kumar Nepal and Jhala Nath Khanal staged a protest rally in the capital on December 22. The rally started from Maitighar Mandala with slogans including the need to repeal the unconstitutional 'Coup' and turned into a corner rally at New Baneshwor
On December 20, President Bidyadevi Bhandari dissolved the House of Representatives and announced a new election date on the recommendation of the cabinet led by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. Dahal-Nepal-Khanal of the ruling NCP has stood on one side while Chairman KP Sharma Oli Sharma has stood on the other side. Both groups have also held separate central committee meetings.
