Nepal Communist Party’s (NCP) Central member Mahesh Basnet's team (from Oli faction) has padlocked the Sindhuli party office on December 23 as the district chairman of the office, Rajan Dahal belonged to Prachanda-Madhav faction

They padlocked the party office and handed over the keys to district party secretary Mahendra Shrestha, the former UML president and district secretary after the party unity. After the unification of the party, the district party committee was running from the same office.
