Gorkha/ June 9 The UCPN-M cadres have held demonstration on June 9 to protest a clash between the cadres of NC and UML in the District Police Office premises on June 8 night. The clash occurred when the UML cadres assaulted NC cadres with stones during a discussion regarding an accident at Gorkha Municipality-10. The NC district city chairperson Rajanraj Panta was injured in the incident for which he was treated at District Hospital. NC cadres had vandalized a car belonging to UML cadre Basanta Gurung (Ba 3 Cha 4654) and thrashed Hari Roka. Around 3 pm, they also assaulted UCPN-M cadre Binod Pariyar who is underoing treatment at Gorkha Hospital for serious head injuries. UCPN-M protested the incident and imposed chakka jam from 4 to 6 pm saying the police of become mute spectator when it cadre was being assaulted. UCPN-M District member Lekh Bahadur Thapa said they would launch further protest program if the accused is not arrested. Zonal police chief Kedar Man Singh Bhandari arrived in Gorkha on early June 9 as DSP Ramesh Thapa, the district police chief had left the town for visit to northern Gorkha. Currently, DSP Dilliraj Panta, posted at Zonal office is trying to pacify the situation. NC accused Inspector Ram Chandra Poudel of failing to take prompt decision to check the spiraling of the incident out of control. Following the charge, SSP Bhandari has transferred Poudel to Zonal Office. Narhari Sapkota सिन्धुली । ०७१ जेठ २६ गते एक ९ वर्षीया बालिकालाई बलात्कार गरेको आरोपमा थुनामा रहेका कमलामाई नपा-५ का २२ वर्षीय शिशिर गौतम जिल्ला अदालतको आदेशमा साधारण तारेखमा रिहा भएका छन् । सिन्धुली जिल्ला अदालतका न्यायाधीश देवेन्द्र पौडेलको जेठ २६ गते बसेको एकल इजलासले आरोपितलाई साधारण तारेखमा रिहा गर्ने आदेश दिए पछि उनी रिहा भएका हुन् । जेठ २६ गते थुनछेक हुँदा अ.बं.४७ वमोजिम साधारण तारेखमा राखि मुद्दाको कारबाही किनारा गर्ने आदेश भएको जिल्ला अदालतका श्रेष्तेदार मनोज श्रीवास्तवले जनाए । आरोपितले पीडित ालिकालाई वैशाख २२ गते बेलुका आफ्नै घरको कोठामा लगि डरत्रासमा देखाई बलात्कार गरेको भनि पीडितका आफन्तले जेठ ४ गते प्रहरीमा उजुरी गरेका थिए । पीडित पक्षले प्रहरीमा उजुरी गरेपछि आरोपित गौतम फरार रहेकोमा प्रहरीले जेठ २२ गते कमलामाई नपा-६ बाट गिरफ्तार गरी जेठ २६ गते अदालत पेश गरेको थियो । वालिकाको जेठ ८ गते सिन्धुली जिल्ला अस्पतालमा स्वास्थ परीक्षण भएको थियो । आनन्द दाहाल
