3 held on charge of murdering Solukhumbu hotelier

hatya ko arop ma 3 pakrau. KATHMANDU: The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police has arrested three persons involved in the murder of a hotelier in Solukhumbu on February 2. Among the arrestees are Avadesh Prasad Yadav (21), Sonalal Giri (22) and Sonalal Ram (31), all hailing from Bara district. According to police, the trio had shot dead 53-year-old Gyalzen Sherpa after he refused to give any money to them in a robbery bid at his hotel. Other three persons involved in the crime – Nima Dendi Sherpa, Anil Rai and Sharan Kumar Rai – were arrested by local police authorities on February 24. Police have also recovered three pistols used in the crime and five bullets. Further investigations are underway, police said.
