Student of National Youth Council arrested after a clash during demonstration against PM Oli

29-year-old student Basanta Banstola, a member of the National Youth Association Kaski of Prachanda-Madhav faction of NCP was arrested after a clash during a torch rally at Prithvi Chowk in Pokhara Municipal Corporation-9 on December 28. The clash started after the police intervened during protest.
Banstola is kept at Ward Police Office while the other protesting students are demanding his release.
