Civil group stages demonstration against parliament dissolution in Kathmandu

Comprehensive Civil Movement staged a protest in Maitighar, over the move of PM Minister KP Sharma for the dissolution of the parliament. A corner meeting was held at Maitighar Mandala by beating the drums (Damfu Episode) on December 28 to demand the restoration of the parliament. Writers, literary figures, artists and human rights activists took part in the protest.
On December 26, they organized "Sankha" episode. According to the organizers, they will protest a "Dhime Episode" on 15 December, on 17 December with "Chabrung episode" and 18 December with street drama. The organizers said that they will agitate until the sovereign rights of the people are restored.
