A body of a young boy has been found buried in Dhanusa on Friday.
According to the spokesperson at Dhanusha Police Circle, Makendra Kumar Mishra, the deceased has been identified as five-year-old Abhin Kumar Ray from Bideha Municipality-2.
Mishra said the child had been reported missing for the past two days. The body was found at a shed of a relative, informed the police.
“Preliminary investigation states he was strangled to death,” said Mishra. “The body has been sent to Janakpurdham for postmortem. The investigation will move forward after we get the report.”
Mishra further said that police had taken five people into custody on suspicion of being part of the murder. They are being questioned by the police.
