Home Minister Badal shown black flag in his home-district Chitwan

Cadres closer to Prachanda-Madhav faction of NCPdisplayed black flag to Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa (Badal) at Hakim Chowk in Chitwan's Bharatpur as a protest against the dissolution of the parliament. They had earlier protested against him at the Bharatpur Airport premises by flying black balloons.
On Janurary 4, Badal, a former Maoist, arrived in Chitwan to address a meeting of NCP-Oli cadres. He supported the Oli group after the division of the NCP.
