Sindhuli,Balatkaarka aaripitlaai 10 barsha kaid. Sindhuli/June 11 District Court in Sindhuli has slapped a sentence of 10-years to Arjun Giri, 35, of Nipane VDC-6 for raping a 6-year-old girl. Judge Debendra Paudel of the District Court issued the verdict on June 11 slapping Giri with 10-year imprisonment and a fine of 25 thousand rupees to be provided to the victim. Shretedar at the court Manoj Srivastab said that the court verdict was according to the point 3 under the chapter rape of Muluki Ain. Police arrested Giri on December 3, 2013 on charge of raping the girl on December 1 after luring her and taking her inside a room of Janahit Primary School Khuttepani in Nipane VDC-6. The accused was remanded in Sindhuli prison following the district court order on December 23. Medical check-up of the victim was conducted in Sindhuli district hospital on December 2.
