Indian SSB obstructs construction of postal bridge in Saptari

Indian Border Security Force ( SSB) obstructed the construction of the Khadak river bridge in Saptari. The bridge was being constructed at Khadak river of Dakneshwori Municipality-6, Kataiya, Saptari.
The postal road project, Nepal, had signed an agreement with Elite Construction Pvt. Ltd., Kathmandu on January 22, 2020, to construct the bridge. After the construction company tried to work by bringing workers and equipment, the SSB obstructed the construction.
Work on the bridge being built by the Nepali side on Nepali land has come to a standstill due to obstruction by the Indian SSB alleging that the land where the construction is under process belongs to India.
