Sindhupalchok/June 12 Radha Giri, 31, of Jyamire VDC-8 has filed a complaint against Shambhu Karki, 45, Maiya Karki, 40, Sanumaiya Karki, 30, and Dhruba Karki, 35, of same place at the District Police Office on June 12 accusing them of beating her on charge of being witch. According to the victim, the accused beat her with a bamboo stick on June 5 while she was at her home. She underwent health check-up at the Chautara Hospital. Inspector Kamal Bahadur Bista of the District Police Office said that the original copy of the complaint has been sent to Area Police Office Melamchi as the incident site falls under the jurisdiction of the APO.
