Students affiliated to Prachanda-Madhav faction burn effigy of PM Oli in Butwal

Students affiliated to NCP (Nepal Communist Party) closer to the Prachanda-Madhav group burned an effigy of Prime Minister KP Sharma in Butwal on January 7, chanting slogans against Prime Minister Oli in protest of the parliament's dissolution.
Anup Pokhrel, a central member of the student organization of the Prachanda-Madhav party, cautioned that if the Prime Minister did not reverse the decision, the street agitation would escalate.
