Five women rescued from India border

Kapilvastu,bhartiya sima bata 5 mahila haru ko uddhar. KAPILVASTU: Five women were rescued from India-Nepal border of Krishnanagar, Kapilvastu today. They were being taken by traffickers with the promise of ‘good foreign employment’. The rescued women have been identified as Sunita, 31, of Tiram and Kumari, 26, of Markawang, Pyuthan, Chandrakala, 31, of Siddhara of Arghakhanchi, Dilmaya, 29, of Khalangi and Indira, 30, of Jyamrung, Dhading. A police team rescued these women. None of them possessed a passport. According to the women, Chandra Bahadur GC and Hajikiya Miya of Bangesal-7 and Kashiram BK of Khaira-2, Pyuthan had assured them lucrative jobs in foreign countries through India. “The traffickers had promised to send us to Kuwait but we had to spend four months in Kathmandu. Chandra Bahadur had dropped them till Anandabihar of India. He had advised them to cross the border themselves. The traffickers are at large, informed police. -
