Police have arrested Raj Singh Thakuri on the charge of murdering his friend Sushil Tamang of Budhanilkantha-6. Tamang died while seeking treatment on January 10 in the Teaching hospital in Maharajgunj. In a clash between two groups near Chailung Gumba in Budhanilkantha on January 7, Sushil was seriously wounded.
Sushil, Raj Singh and Umesh meet for drink-through mutual friends, but a dispute broke out between Umesh and Raj Singh, as Umesh's ex-girlfriend was recently in love with Raj Singh Thakuri. Soon, both called their group of friends, the controversy escalated, and in the fight, Raj Singh accidentally stabbed Sushil Tamang confusing him as a member from Umesh's side.
