Bibeksheel Sajha Party staged a demonstration in Maitghar protestaing against the dissolution of the parliament. The theme of the protest was "Don't kill the plant of Democracy".

They said that all political parties and people should move together to promote and preserve the democracy gained after a long struggle and sacrifice. The party is protesting against the unconstitutional move to dissolve parliament and dictatorship every day. They announced that the protest would continue on the 27th day (January 16) at 10:30 am in Maitighar Mandala.
