Nepali Congress organized protests at all local levels on January 16 against the dissolution of the parliament. They have protested in four rural municipalities and one metropolitan of Kaski.

Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba on January 15 had issued an appeal directing the leaders and cadres to organize protests against the dissolution of the parliament at all 753 local levels of the country.
