Nepali Congress Sunsari has protested at all local levels of Sunsari district on January 16 against the dissolution of the parliament as a part of its nationwide protest program.  A protest program has been organized at Loktantrik Chowk of the district headquarters Inaruwa. Mayor Rajan Mehta addressed the corner meeting held after the rally. Addressing the gathering, Mehta expressed regret over the unconstitutional move taken by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

According to the district party office, the Nepali Congress has organized protest programs at all 12 local levels in Sunsari. 

Earlier, the Nepali Congress convened the House of Representatives across the country.
