RAJBIRAJ, JUN 17 - Police on Monday arrested Mohammad Haidar Ali, 35, of Haripur-7 and Mohammad Kaijum Miya, 24, of Shreepur Jabdi-7 in Sunsari for their alleged involvement in the murder of a couple in Hanumannagar-5, Saptari district. Five other suspects, however, are still at large, said police. Prem Sukh Begwani, 55, and his wife Saroj, 52, were found murder ed in their bedroom on June 5. The victims were reportedly local traders who gave loans for collateral of gold and silver. Security personnel also seized a pistol and ammunitions, two motorcycles, 140 grams gold, 10 kilograms silver along with sedative drugs from the accused two. “Preliminary investigation suggests that the couple were murder ed after the assailants looted them,” said Superintendent of Police Dinesh Amatya.
