An unidentified group vandalized a passenger’s bus bearing number plate BA 4 KHA 8897 at Shivasataxi Municipality-4, Kirat Chowk, Jhapa, on January 23. The front part of the bus was damaged due to the vandalism. The group has vandalized the bus on the day of strike called by Chand-led NCP.

 DSP Rakesh Thapa of the District Police Office, Jhapa, said the search for the accused is undergoing. DSP Thapa suspect that the cadres of banned Communist Party of Nepal led by Netra Bikram Chand (Biplava) may have vandalized the bus.
