Amrit Singh of Chhabispathibhera Rural Municipality Ward No. 3 of Bajhang district was stabbed to death on January 26. While he was returning from the school management committee after the election of Bannichaur Secondary School in Ward No. 3 of Pathibhera Municipality, there was a dispute between the teachers and parents. 

According to police, Gyan Bahadur Kadayat of Ward No. 2 of the same rural municipality involved in the incident was arrested. Police have recovered the knife used in the incident.
