Mornag, Mahila bechbikhan ko arop ma 4 jana giraftar. Police have arrested four people of the same family from Damak Municipality-10 on June 17 on charge of trafficking a 21-year-old woman in India. The arrestees are Meena Tamang, 45, of Damak municipality-10, Srijana Tamang, 22, alias Bunu, Bishnu Tamang, 20, alias Baba and Nabin Sunuwar Rai, 25. Among those arrestees Meena is mother-in-law of the victim whereas all others are from the same family, said SP Bishwo Raj Pokhrel of District police office. All the accused were apprehended by the police from their resident at Damak. The victim was lured and sold in India by the accused at IRS 150,000. An FIR was lodged at district police office by the victim’s maternal uncle against all the accused after she managed to return Nepal after fleeing from the brothel in India. Investigation has gone ahead after remanding the accused in custody, said SP Pokhrel. S
