KATHMANDU, Feb 2: A group of entrepreneurs staged protests at Baluwatar on Tuesday against ‘government apathy’ toward them.

They asked the government to fulfill its promise for tax exemption made during the lockdown.

According to some protestors, they have been charged up to 200 percent more tax instead.

Almost all businesses in the country were severely hit by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
