BARA, JUN 20 - The Bara District Court slapped Sushil Regmi, 17, of -Manaharwa3 with 10 years imprisonment and Rs 50,000 fine for the conviction of a rape charge . A single bench of judge Narayan Prasad Pokharel on Wednesday gave the verdict against Sushil as he was convicted of raping a six-year-old girl some eight months ago. The court also slapped Sushil's father Mukunda and office assistant of Manaharwa VDC Krishna Balami for producing fake documents to lessen the punishment. Mukunda and Krishna changed the date of Sushil's birth certificate to show him only 16 years old with a view to lessening the legal punishment.
