Students stage demonstration against ward chairperson in Pipra, Mahottari

Students of Ram Narayan Ayodhya Secondary School in Pipara Rural Municipality Ward 4 of Mahottari obstructed vehicular movement at Piparachowk on February 3. The students have accused Bikram Chaudhary, chairperson of Pipra village municipality of not being interested in the school and only involving in commission and corruption.

Stating that the village head did not implement any concrete program in education, dozens of students studying in class 9 and 10 participated in the protest. The students state that they are facing problems as the toilets do not have doors, there are no windows in the classroom and the garbage is also poorly managed. They further state that there were no regular classes in the school.
