Cadres of Oli faction of NCP staged a motorcycle rally against the general strike organized by the NCP's Prachanda-Nepal faction. The rally started from Prithvinarayan Campus in Pokhara and reached Prithvinarayan Campus.
After the Oli group's protest rally, the Prachanda-Nepal faction chanted slogans against Oli, while the Oli faction chanted slogans supporting Oli. Police deployed security to prevent clashes between the two groups.
Keshav Sapkota, the central member of the Oli-affiliated ANNFSU, said that they had to protest as the Prachanda-Nepal faction had caused grief to the people due to the strike.
