A clash broke out between police and demonstrators in Bardibas as Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Prachanda-Madhav faction tried to block the East-West highway in Bardibas. The clash erupted when police tried to open the blocked road.

Shankar Mahato, a member of NCP Province 2, Chudamani Pokhrel, ward chairperson of Bardibas Municipality Ward No. 1,Chudamani Pokharel, ward member Niraj Adhikari,and Ward No. 3 chairperson Rajan Dhungana were injured during the clash.

Ward No. 3 chairperson Dhungana has sustained a fracture in his head while others have sustained injuries in their hands and legs.
