Ananda Rai of Jugedi in Naubise VDC-4 was arrested by the Area Police Office of Khanikhola on June 17 on charge of raping two local girls. Area Police Office, Khanikhola said that the two local girls aged 7 and 9 were allured by the accused and raped them on June 17. The police arrested the accused on June 18 with the help from the locals. He will be charged under the rape, said DSP Prakash Malla. The victims had a health checkup at District hospital of Dhadingbesi on June 18.
